Saxophonist George Sax roots from a long tradition of African Jazz saxophonists.

Whilst studying Fine arts at WITS he associated himself with highly profiled jazz musicians at one of South Africa’s premier jazz venues like Bass Line in old Melville and Rumours in the infamous Rocky street. In the true spirit of jazz these old-school masters shared their knowledge of the saxophone and most importantly the art of Jazz! As Georges musical experience grew he was regularly invited to sit in on live sessions with these great saxophonists and jazz players.

GRACE DE LA HUNT

Grace de la Hunt is a singer-songwriter from Cape Town whose main instruments are voicals and guitar. Recently featured as an opening act for Mariah Carey with popular Electro Dance Act Audio Engine, Grace has been told that she has a unique vocal sound as well as musical style, prompting her to experiment with different genres of music. Rock, Indie, Pop, Country crossover, 80s, Motown and R&B are her main influences, performing catchy, fun pop melodies and lyrics she has written or covered.

Grace was a winner in the singer-songwriter Marshall Music competition 2014. She was placed 2nd in the Plebs acoustic Paul Bothers competitions. Grace was in the semi finals for SA got talent 2015 she was judged on her original material and vocal performance.

JANA VAN DER WALT

Jana van der Walt commenced with her musical tuition in Johannesburg at the age of six. Since relocating to the Western Cape some years ago, she has received numerous awards at various Eisteddfods and was awarded gold medals for three consecutive years at local Eisteddfods for the best piano player in different categories. She was a member of the Tygerberg Children’s choir with performances in Canada, Spain, France, Sweden and Denmark as well as a member of the ProCantu Youth Choir.

Jana was awarded permanent placement on Unisa’s Roll of Honour for both harp and piano.

Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Jimmy Nevis is a young (23 year old) Alternative Pop singer/songwriter and producer.
